About Us

Arrowpoint Transport is a small, family-owned trucking company based in the Treasure Valley area in the state of Idaho. The owner, Paul, manages the business with the help of his best friend and wife, Lyuba. Paul handles networking, dispatching, manages maintenance, and repairs, while Lyuba oversees all administrative tasks including required filings, driver background checks and hiring, invoicing and taxes. They started this venture after spending seven years in the medical field as a new challenge and adventure. Their family consists of a house full of six boys from littlest to teens who love to help around the trucks whenever they can and keep the engines running. As parents, they strive to teach their children to grow and learn entrepreneurship, fostering a passion for building and managing their own businesses. Of course growing with Arrowpoint Transport is also a future they can choose.

The values we uphold here at Arrowpoint Transport include integrity, reliability, and trust.  Strong relationships are also very important in order to have a cohesive work environment. We want everyone we work with to feel like part of the family. It is important that the outcome of every relationship is a great benefit to all the people in the situation.  Integrity is a quality which helps ensure we build a strong, long lasting, reliable reputation, ethical decision-making, and success of the business.  Reliability builds trust and creates operational efficiency as well as reducing extra costs.  Trust is the key that gives the business a strong foundation and enables the company’s growth.  As much as we strive to develop these characteristics in our business, we also look for these same qualities in all who partner with us.  It is our mission that the experience that all of our partners in this industry have is always excellent and refreshing.   We stand on the truth that is written in Psalms 18:2 “the Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.”  We know that nothing is possible without the will and blessings of the Lord and that “all things work for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose” according to Romans 8:28.  So we move forward with these truths, trusting in the Lord, every step of the way!

Arrowpoint Transport was established in August 2017.  We are very blessed for all of the experiences, challenges, and knowledge we have acquired over the past nine years.  Paul used to be a therapy assistant, but when the opportunity of trucking was an option, he dove right into the business, being the primary driver for the first few years. Then soon his two brothers drove with him, then several friends until they moved or grew in their own ventures of enterprenership.  As the company grew, we acquired more equipment and new drivers and have been operating at a low scale for the past several years.   Now, we are currently ready to expand our business and grow to help more companies deliver their needs!  

Paul was born in Ukraine and moved to the US at the age of 10 where he lived in California for several years before moving to the beautiful state of Idaho.  His wife’s family is also from Ukraine, but she was born in the United States in the state of California.  After traveling through several states during her childhood, she also ended up in the state of Idaho.  They meet through friends at the Idaho Skating rink. The couple went to college together for the first few years and became occupational therapy assistants.  They worked in the field for six years.  During that time, Paul had gained some experience in management by leading a team of therapists at a skilled nursing facility, coordinating treatment plans, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure the follow through of a quality service.  However, with changes to the medical field, they decided to move on from that industry. Since their marriage in 2008 they have been raising their six amazing boys in the “land of many waters”.  The family loves exploring the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, enjoying God’s beautiful creation and of course all the fun, energy, and laughter boys bring. 

Paul was first introduced to trucking through his good friend, who offered him an opportunity to drive for his company. Paul drove with him for six months.  The family loves entrepreneurship, growing and learning as a family.  So after acquiring some experience in the field, Paul and his wife opened their own business and started this adventurous journey together.  Paul was the solo driver for the first few years until the team grew.  With experience and a small network of some family/friends in the field for support, the business has been going strong for almost a decade.  The family is always learning and growing and improving in every way they can to optimize and improve every area of the business.  They are currently focused on improving quality as well as strengthening the fundamentals of business management.  

Entrepreneurship is an amazing opportunity to grow your personal skills, business understanding, problem solving skills to achieve your dreams.  As with any business, the trucking industry really allows you a large degree of options from which you must make  the choices to make sure the business runs smoothly.  We really enjoy having freedom to get the experience from each choice that is made and create and learn from them.  Trucking is a really interesting industry which the couple has really enjoyed working in for these past many years! Also as a driver at times, Paul really loves the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view of nature across the United States of America.  Who doesn’t love the “big sky county” of Wyoming highway landscapes with the mountain backdrops or the dramatic cliffs and crispy coastlines of the beautiful lush state of Oregon!  Finally, the million dollar highway is an adventure and beauty of its own!  His favorite, however, must be the Northern parts of Idaho for their lush greenery and beautiful mountain ranges!
